Easy Way great for becoming a non smoker, this book is a big miss

First: Allen Carr's stop smoking method is a God Send and if you are a smoker you need to get that RIGHT NOW. I never, in a million years, thought I would be a happy and satisfied non smoker, but I am, thanks to him, and it is AMAZING.
That said, because of my wonderful and joyous success with the Easy Way to Stop Smoking (which I have given to friends to all became non smokers too!!!) I decided to seek out all the other Allen Carr Easy Way books. They are not as good. And this one is the absolute worst. This book isn't really a book. It doesn't have page numbers, or chapters, or a narrative. It is just pages of platitudes about success. Each page has a title, like "Negativity" or "Motivation" and one small paragraph, maybe three or four sentences, follow. That's it. There isn't even a logical order. It's like dozens of blurbs written for pamphlets were collected and hastily slapped in a book, no wonder this one is out of print! The process of reading is frustrating and annoying, and with no page numbers you can't just remember your place. Its akin to paging through a motivation calendar page a day type book that gets you no where. Don't buy this book, it is an absolute waste of time.
If you or someone you know smokes then PLEASE do yourself/them a favor and get the Easy Way method books on smoking. This book? Skip it.

Glad I purchased the book

I have nother book by Allen Carr that I really liked, 'the easy weigh to lose weight'...I'm glad I ordered this one too, but I admit I haven't read the book. Delivery was fast. Allen Carr is a great writer, is famous for 'The Easy Way to stop smoking'- I know a handfull of people that book has helped stop. I'm sure I'll be able to relate something to this book when I begin reading it.

This book is fun reading.
I stopped smoking after reading this book. There was no problem, even though I had very strong doubts about the possibility. It all started at a dinner party. The couple across from me told me about the book. It seemed unbelievable. He quit right after finishing the last page. But his wife decided to read it and made an effort to not quit. That only lasted 2 weeks, and then she just up and quit. I decide to read the book that weekend, and by Monday I had smoked my last cigarette.
This book does not tell you about the bad things of smoking. Instead it tells the reader about all the different and various ways that the reader loves smoking. It was as if the author put "words" into the reader's mouth. This makes the book very entertaining. The best part is the authors request that you don't stop smoking. That way you can really enjoy the book while smoking away.
My opinion is that this book will help mostly long term smokers that are sick of smoking but not quite ready to make a final effort. This makes the final effort easy and fun.
