Throughout my career, I've been involved in a lot of different dimensions of the online world. I've been a freelancer. I've run an outsourcing business. I've invested in domains, offered domain brokerage services and even started an auction platform for domain names. I've started an escrow business, which has been sold to Agreed.com, which was then sold to Escrow.com... and which was ultimately sold to Freelancer.com. I even owned three Web hosting businesses. All in all, it's fairly safe to say I've seen the Internet under the hood, so to speak. Frankly, I'd say finding someone who understands those who make money on the Internet better than yours truly would be quite a challenge. No matter what it is you currently do online, chances are I've at least dabbled in it. As an economist, I consider myself well-balanced. I'm not a Keynesian. I'm not an Austrian Economist either. Nor do I blindly adhere to Monetarism. Unlike a lot of "guru economists" out there, I don't claim to be able to predict the future. In fact, I actually embrace this limitation (and make no mistake, we all have it: nobody on this planet can predict the future in an accurate and consistent manner) and make it a part of my wealth management approach. Will this book help you double your wealth in a month? No, it will not. Is it an "easy way out"-type book? I'm sorry but no. Wealth Management 2.0 is not an easy fix, nor is it a sleazy "one size fits all" approach that sounds good but has zero real world applicability. It's a common sense guide which, if used properly, can and will help you enhance your wealth in a sustainable manner. Writing the 450+ pages of Wealth Management 2.0 took over two years of blood, sweat, tears and sanity. I'm a perfectionist. I could have launched this book a lot sooner but didn't. It wasn't ready and I wasn't about to put my signature on a product I don't believe in 100%. It is most definitely ready now and to say I believe in it 100% would be the understatement of the century. This book means so much to me that a statement such as "I believe in it 100%" seems way too diluted. Whether people realize it or not, wealth management was, is and always will be a fundamental part of our existence. Make no mistake, all of those sayings about how keeping your money is harder than making it are definitely anchored in reality. The idea of managing your wealth may sound complicated but it fortunately isn't. Wealth management is lucrative, fascinating and (dare I say it) fun: give Wealth Management 2.0 a chance and I'm confident you'll end up agreeing with me!

I was reading the other day that most Americans are in irreparable debt, 25% are unable to come up with $2,000 in 30 days if needed and 63% don't have enough in savings to cover a $500 emergency.

My father was VP of Finance for NBC, CFO of Radio City Music Hall and then National Geographic, as a result I am financially inclined and value a proper education on managing one's wealth. Because of my history many of what's mentioned in this book to me is common sense, however considering the current state of the average American and European I believe anyone (or should I say "most people") that wishes to better understand his or her basic financial standing would be well suited to pick up a book like this.

If you're looking to explore how your finances should be approached, acquired and dispersed to optimize your short and longer term returns than have a look. Grounded Basic Money Advice that Will Last a Lifetime

Unlike so many books that seem as though they are aimed at people with a nest-egg to invest, this book is also helpful to people with almost no wealth at all. If you can only save $100 a month, this book will help you turn that into real money. While some people are lucky enough to get wealthy in one windfall, most of us have to work our way there. Getting there requires 2 things: earning the money in the first place, and using/investing it wisely to grow it over the years. It's the second part that trips a lot of us up. This book is a greats start.

This book doesn't offer so much in the details and technicalities of investing as it does in the general mindset. Without the right mindset, your money will slip away, so this step is essential. The books addresses attitudes towards money, investing, family and friend issues, psychology and self-control (financial discipline). Really this is all you need. However you choose to invest your money, there is no one book that can give you all the details you will need. You will learn that as you go. This book, however, will get you started with the right footing and the right attitude.

The info here is useful to anyone making enough to put a couple hundred aside each month. And probably essential if you hope to turn that into wealth. This is the basic stuff one should internalize before moving on to more specific investment guides. Easy to read and conversational, it's no trouble getting through the book either. If I have to criticize anything, I might say it's too conversational. While most of the stories offer useful support for the points the author is making, sometimes they were more than I needed.

Again, the lack of specific investment advice might disappoint some, but the book is focused on mindset and attitude, sort of like Think and Grow Rich, or at least Think and Don't Grow Poor Again.

The book covers the important points really well, with each point summed up again at the end of each unit.

This is the book that people should buy before they buy any other investment book. It's the one that teaches you to stand and walk before attempting leaps and backflips.

This is a LONG book but then again, it's a book most people will finish rather quickly because it's entertaining and a page turner for sure. I can get headaches after reading a 10-page academic paper written in "gibberish" but give me hundreds of pages of well-written entertaining content and I'll love every minute of it.

And Wealth management 2.0 is surely in the second category. It's clear it was written by an economist who could have made it sound very academic if he wanted it to or if he wanted to "impress" his readers but I'm glad he didn't do it. Whenever economists try to impress me, I'm not impressed but rather annoyed. Being an expert at something doesn't mean trying to sound like a nobel prize winning genius with each word that comes out of your mouth. It means giving good information in a way that's easily digestible to your audience.

This isn't a book written for economists, it's a book written by an economist for people who make money on the net. I invest in domains for example so I'm one such person. I would have been bitterly disappointed if the book contained overly complex terminology and honestly would have stopped reading it very quickly. Instead, I was pleased with the writing style and obviously with the actual information.

Would highly recommend it to anyone in his target audience. Or come to think of it, I think even if you don't earn a living on the net and just want good, sound financial tips, you will be very happy you read this book

Hot, Dirty, Raw Quickies

HOLY CRAP! There is no denying it, you get exactly what it says on the cover when you pick up an Alexa Riley book. If you are a fan of quick, dirty reads that are full on hot scenes and over the top situations, then you can't go wrong with this boxset. Alexa Riley is without a doubt my fix for a smutty read.

I really must warn you, if you hav triggers then this is most likely not for you. The title doesn't just suggest about the content, it gives you fair warning.

I LOVED all 3 books in this boxset. Each one centred around the same theme but Alexa did an awesome job of getting each book to stand on it own with different storylines and not the same old, same old in all 3 books.

Without a doubt, the men in all 3 books are over the top and extreme in their actions. There is nothing subtle about them or their actions when claiming "their" woman.

The one thing that I can assure you without a doubt is that Alexa Riley can write a sex scene so hot that your panties will feel like they are melting off you and that you will either need relief or a cold shower to recover from the state that she worked you up into. These scenes are so detailed and hot that you don't even have to use your imagination. If your not a fan of full on, then don't even bother with these.

But even though these stories are short, Alexa pulls you in from the first word and doesn't release you until you have finished. Her writing is engaging, it's raw, it's completely and utterly dirty and while you know the content is something that shouldn't make you hot, you can't help but become inflamed.

What I do have to say is that each of these books comes with it's own little twist. But you have to read them to find out.

I recommend these books to anyone who is looking for something that does not require much power to process, wants a dirty quickie and is not bothered by the dubious consent as the main theme across these books. Just be prepared with a change of undies after.

Smoking hot bundle of erotic fantasies!!

Taking What's Mine-
This was definitely one of the best from the Forced Submission series!

Please know that neither I nor Alexa Riley endorse or excuse rape, by any means. Know that each book in this series may begin looking like it's rape, but they are NOT. In the case of this book, it's a forced submission fantasy being put into play. I hope that's not considered a spoiler, I just don't want anyone starting it then stopping because they think they're reading a story that promotes rape. Keep reading and give it a chance to explain itself.

Relax and let yourself be immersed in the fantasy of a hot cop pulling you over and making you enjoy some very naughty things. This book is just as hot as every other book by this author. I always enjoy her work!!
Taking What's Ours- A very hot menage story!! I admit to being slightly uncomfortable at the beginning, because it seemed to be more "forced" than I was okay with. But I knew Alexa wouldn't write a story like that so I hung in there and I'm glad I did! I knew there was more going on than we saw, but the twist at the end still shocked me! It wasn't what I expected at all.

Hudson and Ridge are in prison and make an elaborate escape plan that includes spending some intimate time with the prison doctor, named Charlotte. Although Charlotte was expressing that she didn't want it to happen, her body was reacting differently. You find out why later. Theres an HEA for the characters who actually turn out to be the good guys, not criminal rapists.

The menage scenes were smoking, and the story is short enough that it can be reread anytime you need a sexy little pick me up.
Taking What's Hers-
So what do you get when you have two slightly obsessive stalker-ish people stuck in the same room together? A scenario hot enough to catch my phone on fire, that's what!

Valentina may seem a little crazy at first, what with drugging Archer, tying him to a bed while he's out of it, and making plans to force him to impregnate her. But it all goes awry when Archer's own bit of crazy is revealed.

This is a short and steamy read well worth the time to check it out! We're all a little bit crazy and some of us may have considered acting out on it a time or two, we just don't have the nerve of ballsy Valentina!!

Great Series!

This bundle consists of the first three book in Alexa's Forced Submission series. Honestly, no one does erotica like Alexa Riley. Even though each book has the same premise they are all have a different story line and different characters. Just be warned, these books are taboo with a capital T. But that taboo is oh so good! Even if you've read all three books when they were published alone, you need to invest in this bundle because each book has a brand new epilogue. And boy are they good! Love you Alexa!

This book is a solid standard resource for anyone doing research in women's history or in nineteenth-century studies. It is a rather dry, but very well-researched and informative history of the development of the Married Women's Property Acts in the U.S. The work's title is a bit misleading; otherwise, it is a very useful text that provides a lengthy bibliography of other relevant sources, as well.

Excellent for filling your past time instead of video games.

This book is going to last me a long time. I did 4 puzzles today and it took me awhile, kept me entertained , and made for great chatter amongst my friends. You will love it also.

Some Games Are Dark In Nature

Very challenging games, involving different logical skills being put to the test. You'll need to be fairly good at math for some of these. You'll also need to have good reasoning/deduction skills.

I would be selective about which problems I presented to younger audiences. Some of the games involve topics like suicide and murder. I wasn't too fond of the games that had these type of topics, but to each his own. I just wanted to put this as a warning.

Overall, I liked a number of the games and the explanations were great too. I rented this as part of Kindle Unlimited.

Harlan cracked his knuckles before picking up a portable scanner and taking Xon's readings. He showed Nancy, who bit her lower lip at what he had found.

"Remove it?" he asked.

"We'll have to. Even if we could we don't have the time to attempt a reconstruction," she replied.

Remove what? Xon asked, slightly alarmed.

Nancy ignored him, focusing instead on the task at hand. After selecting a laser scalpel and asking for suction, she delved into what was left of Xon's midsection.

Dammit Nancy, he said. What are you gonna remove?

Nothing important, she told him as she concentrated.

It mightn't be important to you, but it is to me. That's my body you're removing things from.

The scalpel slipped. "Shit," she muttered as Harlan stepped in to assess what damage she had made.

What? What did you do?

"Xon," she said, startling everyone. "If you do not shut up, I will either kill you or castrate you. Do you understand me?"

His silence was answer enough, so she continued, this time with one less distraction.

"He's really in there?" Constance asked.

Sci fi trilogy ends

Well this wrapped up the Callisto trilogy. Nice sci-fi and romance elements. It wrapped storylines up that I had never put together - well done! Unfortunately it left a lot of the main characters outright being untrustworthy which seemed too gritty if realistic. Also I do like both partners of my romantic couples to be alive at the ending. Xon's sudden turn around at the end was unbelievable to the max which caused me to subtract a star because - really ???? - no one? Good reading.

Loved the whole series!

Just enough 'science' to go with the romantic fiction. Wonderful quick reads, action packed story line. Recommend you buy all three: Taken, Adrift, and United. With all three at once on your device a you won't waste time with "cliffhanger" anxiety. {#hatecliffhangars!} Looking forward to more stories from this author.

Very good book and loved the characters. The author has a very good story line.

About the Author
David S. Hage is a professor of analytical and bioanalytical chemistry in the
Department of Chemistry at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln. He received his
B.S. in chemistry and biology from the University of Wisconsin, La Crosse, his Ph.D.
in analytical chemistry from Iowa State University, and he was a postdoctoral fellow
in clinical chemistry at the Mayo Clinic. He is a full professor at the University
of Nebraska, Lincoln.

Dr. Hage is the author of over 145 research publications, reviews and book
chapters. He recently edited a book entitled the Handbook of Affinity
Chromatography (Taylor Francis) and is a coauthor on the textbook Chemistry: An
Industry-Based Introduction (CRC Press). He received the 1995 Young
Investigator Award from the American Association for Clinical Chemistry and
the 2005 Excellence in Graduate Education Award from the University of
Nebraska, Lincoln. He was made a Bessey Professor of Chemistry in 2006 at the
University of Nebraska.


James D. Carr is a professor of analytical chemistry in the Department of
Chemistry at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln. He received his B.S. in chemistry
from Iowa State University and his Ph.D. in chemistry from Purdue
University. He was then a postdoctoral fellow at the University of North Carolina,
Chapel Hill. He is a full professor at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln.
Dr. Carr is the author of approximately 50 research publications and articles.

He is the coauthor of Chemistry: A World of Choices (McGraw-Hill), a liberal arts
general chemistry textbook. He is also the author or coauthor of several versions
of general chemistry and quantitative analysis lab manuals and study guides (gen
chem only). He has won several teaching awards, including the University of
Nebraska Distinguished Teaching Award in 1981; University of Nebraska
Recognition Awards for Contributions to Students in 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995, and
2000; and the University of Nebraska Outstanding Teaching and Instructional
Creativity Award in 1996. He is a member of the University of Nebraska, Lincoln
Academy of Distinguished Teachers and received the Distinguished Teacher
Award from the Nebraska Teaching Improvement Council in 2001.

Why was this textbook even published?

We already have three excellent-to-very-good undergraduate analytical chemistry texts on the market - Harris (ISBN 146413538X), Skoog (ISBN 0495558281) and Christian (ISBN 0470887575). All 3 have been around forever and are now refined to the point of near perfection.

A recent entrant has already tried to penetrate this market and failed: David Harvey's "Modern Analytical Chemistry" (ISBN 0072375477), which is a book I strongly like. Do yourself a favor & hunt down a used copy of that or download the revised 2nd edition in PDF from the author's website at Depauw U. Why pay for a textbook when something so good is available for free?

If you look at the table of contents of Hage & Carr (below) and compare it to the above "big 3" you'll see there's hardly any difference. Every book covers the same material in pretty much the same way.

Other things not to like about this book:

1. the price, for one. Ouch. It's just too expensive for what it is. And if you want the solutions manual - guess what? - that's another $70.

2. The text is presented in two columns on every page. Hence, the information density is very high. I'll guess this was done to reduce the page count but it really hurts readability. The authors and publisher should study their competitor, Daniel Harris, and see why he's so enjoyable to read: besides his skill as a writer, his books are well-presented with wide margins which make effective use of whitespace. These are not trivial points to consider when it comes to textbook design.

3. Why was all this instrumental analysis material included in what should be a book on basic quantitative analysis? See my review of David Harvey's book for my low opinion of that practice.

There must be a better option.

Very poor at explaining most things. Mentions the existence of methods and concepts but doesn't explain them, then has questions about them at the end of the chapter. Vague, generalized blurbs don't promote a deep understanding of the subject. Normally I can clarify my confusion by careful and thoughtful reading. Not so with this book. Between organic, inorganic, and p chem, this is the worst chem book I've used. The further I get, the more confident I feel in my opinion.

The book is the best choice for studying analytical chemistry. It commbines the stuff from Analytical textbooks by Harris and Skoogg presents it in a very understandable manner.
